Juliōn Building Plans, a trading name of Built × Data (Reg. No. 2017/401147/07) ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through julion.co.za, why we collect it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible for your information

• Contact and enquiry details you submit through our contact form, fee calculator, or site-visit booking form: your name, email address, phone number, project type, and any project details you describe.
• Project tracking details if you are a client using our project tracker: your project reference, surname, and project status information.
• Usage information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when analytics or advertising tools are active: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you interact with the site.

3. Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry, send you a fee estimate you requested, or confirm a site-visit booking.
• To provide quotes and deliver drafting and council-submission services if you become a client.
• To understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our advertising, using aggregated analytics.
• To show relevant advertising to people who have visited our site (retargeting), where advertising tools are active.

We only use your information for the purposes above. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

Depending on which tools are active, the following third parties may process limited information on our behalf or through their own technologies:

If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as required for professional, legal, and regulatory purposes, including SACAP record-keeping expectations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information;
• Object to processing, including for direct marketing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

8. Security

We take reasonable, appropriate measures to protect the personal information we hold, including limiting access to it and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
